I have been hearing about people on photography sites that have been doing 365 days, one photo a day projects for a few years now, yet I have always struggled with what I could use as a theme. Two weeks ago I went to lunch with my friend and teacher, she had the brilliant idea of starting on my 30th birthday, to photograph my entire year of being 30. I fell in love with the idea, and I thank her for her inspiration to embark on such a journey.
SO here is Day 1- July 3, 2011.......
These people have taught me more in the past year then they will ever know..... They have welcomed me into their family and life unconditionally. Their kindness, lightness of heart and self confidence is infectious and lingers long after one meets them. I am grateful they were there to celebrate my birthday as they have become such a big part of my life. This picture..... well just makes my heart happy. <3
